Supporting every step towards employment

Poor language skills, unrecognised qualifications, limited access to digital resources, a lack of professional networks, and socio-cultural barriers: for many of the people we support, the obstacles to finding work are numerous. Added to this are sometimes health issues or a lack of understanding of the Luxembourg labour market. Without support, these obstacles can block access to the labour market and make the future uncertain.

IDENTIFYING THESE OBSTACLES: THE FIRST STEP TOWARDS TAKING ACTION.

Learning languages is often the first step towards moving forward. We therefore offer tailored courses, workshops and discussion groups where participants can practise in a friendly setting, as well as professional language training to help them acquire the specific vocabulary required for a particular trade. The aim is to give everyone the means to communicate, understand their professional environment and become more independent.

Where direct access to the labour market is not yet possible, we implement activation measures in collaboration with ONIS. Through activities such as gardening, cooking, minor repairs or cleaning, participants regain a routine, develop skills and break out of isolation, whilst gradually preparing for sustainable employment.

Finally, our comprehensive support towards employment is at the heart of what we do. Skills assessments, career planning, workshops to understand the Luxembourg labour market, personalised coaching and support with administrative procedures: each person receives tailored support to overcome obstacles, showcase their skills and regain confidence.
