Reception centres FOR UNACCOMPANIED Children
In response to the large number of unaccompanied minors arriving in Luxembourg, several reception centres have been opened for them in partnership with the Office National de l'Enfance, providing care 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
It is important that these children are not left in the emergency accommodation structures for adult applicants for international protection, but are looked after by dedicated staff meeting their specific needs as children. A socio-educational team is on site 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
HUT - Hëllef um Terrain currently has five homes: two in Munshausen,two in Hoscheid and the centre "Um Selteschfeld" in Bridel with a total capacity of about 150 children.
