Wanteraktioun

Every year since 2001, Wanteraktioun has been giving homeless people a place to stay during the coldest months of the year, day and night.

As part of this initiative, in which the Croix-Rouge luxembourgeoise (Luxembourg Red Cross) and the non-profit association Inter-Actions Asbl also participate, HUT - Hëllef um Terrain is responsible for providing overnight accommodation, from dinner to breakfast. The night shelter is located near the airport. A shuttle bus leaves from the station. Almost a hundred people (professionals and volunteers) are mobilised every year as part of Wanteraktioun.

Wanteraktioun is an initiative of the Ministry of Family Affairs, Solidarity, Living Together and Reception of Refugees. The three partners are regrouped in a joint ASBL, DrÄieck asbl.

Wanteraktioun 2025–2026 is open from 15 November 2025 to 15 April 2026.
